Program Details

Sundance is a 10-bed secure detention/custody facility for female-identifying youth who are involved in the justice system. The environment emphasizes clear routines, consistent expectations, and respectful interactions to create predictability and a sense of security. Spaces are designed to balance supervision with opportunities for growth, reflection, and engagement in daily activities. Youth at Sundance receive coordinated clinical and medical services, education, group and individual programming provided with a trauma-informed focus. With access to education, recreation, life-skills development, and therapeutic supports tailored to their individual needs, youth have the opportunity to prepare for successful reintegration into the community. Admission is contingent upon YCJA legislative criteria.

Program Details

Beacon Harbour is a 6-bed open detention/custody facility for female-identifying youth who are involved in the justice system. The facility provides a comfortable home-like environment that is safe, structured, and supportive. Youth at Beacon Harbour receive coordinated clinical and medical services, education, group and individual programming provided with a trauma-informed focus. Through programming that includes Healthy Relationships, Springboard Hub, community engagement, and skill-building, youth will have the opportunity to move forward, prepared to succeed. Admission is contingent upon YCJA legislative criteria.

Bailiff

The Bailiff Program supports our Sundance and Beacon Harbour facilities and provides transportation to and from custody for justice involved youth.
